| IGP Jammu orders promotion of 78 HCs as ASIs | | | early times report
jammu, June 21: IGP, Jammu Zone, Dilbag Singh, today issued promotion orders in respect of 78 Head Constables (HCs), promoting them to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs) in the pay scale of Rs 5200-20200 + grade pay 2800.
The above said promotions were cleared by the Departmental Promotion Committee .The timely conduct of promotions has added to the high morale of subordinate officers/ officials and their better job performance.
Also by promoting upper ranks, lower ranks official get a chance of promotion for the next rank. This is also a result of regular attention in this area for the welfare of Subordinate Units
