Bollywood starlet Laila Khan mysterious disappearance case | Kishtwar police arrests Parvaiz Tak from Jammu, CJM gives 7 days police remand | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, June 21 : Kishtwar police achieved a major success in mysterious disappearance case of Bollywood starlet Laila Khan case by arresting main accused Parvaiz Iqbal Tak from Jammu. Tak's name surfaced in much publicized case after Kishtwar police recovered outlander vehicle with Maharashtra number plates on 28-05-2012 from Om Mehta road Kishtwar on the outskirt of Kishtwar town. Tak was absconding since last several months after his prolonged and close association with Film actress Laila Khan's family. While divulging the details in a press brief at his office chamber, Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary said that accuse Parvaiz Iqbal Tak had managed to establish contacts with Shalina Patel mother of Laila Khan and got married to her to seek entry into the family. He said that Police presumes the arrest of Parvaiz wanted in various cases in different police stations within and outside the state as a major success. Mr. Chowdhary said that after Parvaiz stay in the house of Laila Khan along with her family for nearly 1 and ½ year, the family suddenly disappeared and Parvaiz Tak was absconding since then. After the disappearance of the family Parvaiz Tak moved a Scorpio car and outlander car from the Igatpuri Nasik farmhouse of the actress' family. He said that one of the two cars was seized by Jammu Police in Feb 2011 and the outlander car was seized by Kishtwar Police recently while being parked in a suspicious dwelling in Kishtwar town. He said that Kishtwar Police has also cases of cheating and money laundering registered against Parvaiz Tak. He said that after the seizure of outlander car from Kishtwar town Police investigated the movement of this high profile car from Maharashtra to Kishtwar and established its link with Parvaiz Tak and actress Laila Khan's family which he deserted. The seizure of outlander car and its investigation conducted by Kishtwar Police brought it closer to Maharashtra Police where the issue of sudden disappearance of the family is under investigation with Nasik Police and ATS Maharashtra. With the seizure and investigation of outlander car the bizarre disappearance of Laila Khan and her family attracted a lot of local and National Media hype. Due to the latter it became a great challenge for the Police both in Kishtwar as well as Maharashtra to locate and arrest Parvaiz Iqbal Tak. He said that a team of Kishtwar Police led by him along with Inspector Mushtaq Ahmed SHO Police Station Kishtwar under the supervision of SSP Kishtwar BS Tuti started investigations and after a hectic hard work of nearly two weeks has successfully arrested Parvaiz Tak Son of Mohammad Amin Tak Resident of Nali Bonjawh Kishtwar from Jammu outskirts when he was returning from Gurakpur express from Nepal after entering into India territory. He said that in order to avoid his arrest, Parvaiz Tak abonden the train mid way and instead prefer to travel by road. He said that police personal in civil dress were following him in stage managed of his entry into Indian territory and said that as and when he reach near Narwal chowk Jammu, a team of Kishtwar police is already waiting for him and empowered him with the help of security personal. He said that Parvaiz Tak is wanted to Kishtwar Police, Hoishyarpur Police and Srinagar Police in various cases of cheating and money swindling. He said that with the arrest of Parvaiz Tak, police will find a suitable answer to the various question pertaining to disappearance of actress Laila Khan, her other family members and fire incident of her Igatpuri farmhose and the movement of the cars of her family from Maharashtra to Jammu and Kishtwar. Shortly after his arrest Police produce him before Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar Ashwani Sharma at his residence for seeking his Police remand . CJM Kishtwar approved the 7 days remand of the accuse in favour of police. Mr. Chowdhary said that the investigation is at its preliminary level and said that it is premature to say anything about the whereabouts of Laila Khan and her family. He said that Kishtwar police has informed Maharashtra police about the arrest of Parvaiz Tak. He said that though Kishtwar police is not investigating Liala Khan disappearance case, but said that police is providing all possible help to Maharashtra police in solving the mysterious disappearance case of Bollywood starlet. "It is premature to say whether Laila Khan and her family is still alive or not--- or there is any terror link in the case-once the investigation moves forward we will be able to come close to the mystery behind Liala Khan mysterious disappearance and involvement of Parvaiz Tak thereafter." Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary added. |
