| Rs 35 crore being expended on four WSS in Bla | | | Baramulla, February 01 Four water supply schemes are presently under execution in Baramulla district under state sector at an estimated cost of Rs. 35.43 crore. This was stated today at an engineer’s meeting convened by District Development Commissioner Baramulla, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan at Baramulla, today. It was apprised that Water Supply Scheme Augmentation Baramulla started at a cost of Rs. 12.50 crore commissioned in 2005 which will benefit 98645 souls. The expenditure incurred on the augmentation of the scheme is Rs. 10.03 crore till November 2006. Likewise the Regional Water Supply Scheme Pattan coming up at a cost of Rs 9.65 crore will benefit 199925 souls of Pattan and 56 adjoining areas after completion. An expenditure of Rs. 7 crore has been booked on its augmentation till November 2006. The Water Supply Scheme Augmentation, Zaingeer coming up at a cost of Rs 9.16 crore with an expenditure of Rs. 5.12 crore till November 2006 would benefit 10000 souls after completion. It was told that Water Supply Scheme Augmentation, Kalaroos Bandipora started at an estimated cost of Rs 3.73 crore with an expenditure of Rs. 2.56 crore till November 2006. |
