| SRS demands CBI probe into non-issuance of BSNL bills | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 22: Shri Ram Sena (SRS) has taken serious note of BSNL's working in Jammu region and demanded immediate restoration of issuing monthly bills of post paid subscribers with details and improvement in connectivity and other services.
In a press release issued here today, (SRS) state president Rajiv Mahajan said that BSNL has not been providing post paid mobile bills to customers for the last more than six months.
Mahajan said despite supreme court order to provide bills with full details to post paid customers every month, BSNL in Jammu region has failed to issue bills to its post paid subscribers in violation of the Court orders.
Mahajan further said that there are about three lakh subscribers in Jammu region who do not get their monthly mobile bills.
He doubts a big scandal involving crores of rupees by not issuing proper bills to subscribers and demanded a CBI inquiry into this fraud.
He blamed that BSNL is fully concentrating on earning money without taking least care for its customers.
He said Ram Sena wants to know the reason behind non-issuance of bills to post paid subscribers.
SRS demanded to issue bills to its post paid customers with immediate effect otherwise Sena will be forced to resort to agitational path, the responsibility of which shall solely lie on BSNL. |
