| PHE Employees to stage protest in support of casual workers | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, June 22 : Expressing concerns over non withdrawal of the monthly salaries of C.P workers, the PHE Employees Association Kishtwar has decided to sit on two hour dharna in front of Sub Division office Kishtwar to express solidarity with CP Workers.In a meeting held under the chairmanship of Mohammad Iqbal Shah in union office in Kishtwar in which great resentment was shown against JEs and AEEs who fails to withdraw the monthly salaries of C.P workers. The association members unanimously decided to sit on two hour dharna in front of Sub Division office Kishtwar in support of demands of C.P Workers who had not received their wages since last 6 months as a result of which they are facing acute problems. They also threaten to go for indefinite strike from June 24 in case the department shows causal approach towards their demands.Among the prominent who spoke in this meeting included Bashir Ahmed Baghwan, Abdul Kabir Kandoo, Mushtaq Ahmed Dev, Ayaz Hussain, Bhushan Kumar, Shokat Ali, Sajjad Hussain Butt and others. |
