DBPS discusses ongoing progress of electioneering | | | early times report JAMMU, June 22 : Prominent members of Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha (DBPS) today discussed issues regarding the ongoing progress of electioneering being conducted by the Election Committee comprising of D.N. Pangotra, Jagan Nath Sharma and Surinder Sharma. In a meeting held at Sabha Bhawan, Parade, Jammu under the chairmanship of Pt Som Nath Sharma Director Agriculture Retd, P P Sharma Principal Chief Conservator Forests Retd and D K Sharma Former Director Handicrafts expressed their views regarding the ongoing progress of electioneering being conducted by the Election Committee However, it was impressed upon to conduct the election without any delay. It was also expressed by the participants that a largely attended meeting of the members should be convened. The valuable suggestions putforth by PP Sharma, Satyanand Sharma, Jagan Nath Sharma, Dr Som Dutt Sharma and others were also taken note and Jagan Nath Sharma, the member election committee told that scrutiny and registration of the validly enrolled members is in progress and it is a time consuming process. The schedule of the elections shall be announced at the earliest and there is no question of any delay. The meeting was attended by following distinguished persons i.e. P.C. Sharma Advocate Chairman Grameen Brahman Sabha, V.P. Sharma, Virendra Mangotra, Sat Pal Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma Former President, Vice President Secretary and Cashier respectively, Nanak Chand Sharma, Madan Lal Sharma, M.L. Sharma, Pt. Jagan Nath Sharma, Chander Shekhar, Dr. Som Dutt Magotra, Mangu Ram Sharma President Akhnoor Brahman Sabha, Dr. K.L Khajuria, and Keshore Kumar of Nagrota.
