| NMC urges for promotion orders for A/c staff | | | early times report
JAMMU, June 22 : President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed the Finance Minister AR Rathar to issue promotion orders in favour of the accounts personnel who have recently passed the SAC Part-II examination. In a statement issued here Shastri also appreciated the functioning of Commissioner Secretary Finance particularly Director General Accounts & Treasuries W M Bhatt who have taken effective steps in streamling the working of the Finance Department and Creations of promotion avenues in favour of the subordinate accounts personnel. NMC president also urged upon the Finance Minister to enhance the medical allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs. 1000 per month in favour of the employees of the State Govt. and pensioners in view of sharp rise of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
