3 member NIA team arriving in Kishtwar to quiz Tak | Tak claims Laila Khan is still alive | | Asif Iqbal Naik Kishtwar, June 22:- Police has widen its probe into mysterious disappearance case of Bollywood starlet Laila Khan and her family members after the arrest of main suspect Parvaiz Iqbal Tak from Jammu by Kishtwar police in a joint operation with team of Crime Branch. Parvaiz Iqbal Tak who was sent to 7 days' police remand by Chief Judicial Magistrate Kishtwar yesterday is jointly being interrogated by Jammu and Kashmir police and members of National Investigating Agency (NIA). The investigating team is led by Deputy Inspector General of Police Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban range Gareeb Das. Mr. Das rushed to Kishtwar early this morning to personally supervise the ongoing interrogation of Parvaiz Tak. According to the sources, Parvaiz Iqbal Tak during sustained questioning revealed that actress Laila Khan and her family is alive but failed to provide any information to police regarding the actress and her family member's whereabouts. Tak denied the police allegation that he had killed actress and her family in lure of money and informed the police that all the family members were alive when they fled the country. Tak reportedly informed the police that the actress and her family used Nepal route to travel somewhere to gulf on fake passports. The sources said that Parvaiz Iqbal Tak himself holds a fake passport in the name of Ateeq and has traveled to gulf and other countries on the same passport in past. The sources said that Tak failed to give any logic as to what forced the family to flee out of India under suspicious circumstances. The sources said that Tak was actively linked with fake passport racket running in cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad of Andra Pradesh. The sources said that during preliminary questioning of Tak, it appears that he was working with criminal turned militants as a courier and arranged fake passports for them. The sources, however, did not disclose the organization with which Parvaiz Iqbal Tak was associated. The sources said that after he (Tak) went to Mumbai, he had accumulated lot of wealth in the form of cash and jewelry through illegal means. The investigating agencies are also questioning Tak in connection with last year September 7 blast outside Delhi High Court. Tak who was involved in many cheating cases in Kishtwar, Srinagar, Hoshiyarpur and Mumbai in recent past frequently visited Nepal where he had developed his links with several criminal elements. The sources said that police suspects that Tak might have arranged fake passports for militants involved in last year Delhi High Court blast. The sources said that NIA and ATS are presently working on various modalities involving terror links including possible link with "D" company of underworld Don Dawood Ibrahim. The sources said that though ATS Mumbai and Maharashtra police have left for Kishtwar but are yet to reach here. NIA team led by Inspector Jawala Ji Shirivastav is also working on various aspects to establish whether the seized vehicle of actress Laila Khan was used in ferrying the explosive form Kishtwar to Delhi for High Court blast. The sources said that it will take two to three days to verify the claims made by Tak during his questioning. Sources said that keeping in view of hardcore criminal image of accuse Parvaiz Tak, investigating agencies wants to be 100% sure before trusting the revelations made by Tak before Kishtwar police and NIA. The sources said that Kishtwar police has already started the job of scrutinizing the call details of Parvaiz Tak mobile number, beside are also working on his internet pages through which he was in contact with several of his friends through internet Protocol voice system. The sources said that the cities like Mumbai and Hyderabad are also on the list of terror radar and keeping in view of his past links with LeT militants, security agencies cannot rule out working of Tak for militant sleeper cells active in Mumbai and other parts of the country. The sources said that in view of recent inputs regarding an attempt of Delhi High Court blast accuse to flee India via Nepal, the security forces did not rule out that Tak might has assigned the job of arranging fake passports for the Delhi High Court blast accused presently on run in forest of Kishtwar district. The sources said that police is also looking for few Kashmiri womens who accompanied Parvaiz Tak last year on the eve of marriage ceremony of his sister. The sources said that Kishtwar police has also scrutinize the video tapes of marriage of Tak's sister and on the bases of that video, Kishtwar police zeroed in on some suspect Kashmiri females who were believed to be an important link in the case. The sources said that as the questioning of Tak moves forward, the case started getting murkier and surprises the investigating team. It is worthwhile to mention here that actress Monica Bedi who was released recently from jail and underworld Don Abu Saleem had fake passports issued from Hyderabad city.
