| J&K Bank Football League | | Jahangir Sports, JKPDC-A win ties | | early times report
srinagar, June 24: Jahangir Sports and J&K Power Development Corporation (JKPDC)- A won their respective matches to stren-gthen their positions in the ongoing J&K Bank Football League tournament, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at Polo Ground, here today. Earlier, in the first match of the day, Jahangir Sports defeated Syed Tajdin Football Club by a solitary goal. The only goal of the match came through Ashraf.
In the second match of the day, JKPDC-A blanked Kashmir Mughals 6-0 to make it a one-sided affair. Irfan opened the JKPDC account in the very sixth minute, followed by the second goal netted by Adnan.
Leading by two goals in the first half, the formidable side of JKPDC continued their offensive and added four more goals to make it a one-sided 6-0 win. Bilal and Owais Farooq were the scorers. Bilal played a key role in JKPDC's big win by striking at the opponent net thrice in the second half of the game. |
