| Valedictory Function Of Oil and Gas Fortnight held | | | JAMMU | FEB 1
Valedictory Function of Oil and Gas conservation fortnight (OFCF) 2007 was organized in an impressive function here at HPCL premises, Jammu today by Oil Industry.
I.D.soni, state commissioner (Scouts), the J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides was the Chief Guest & Additional Dy. Commissioner, Jammu, HK Sharma was the guest of Honour present on the occasion. The function was attended by all the state Oil PSU’s viz Indian Oil Corporation; Hindustan Petroleum Corporation 7 IBP limited, represented by state Level Cio-ordinator, RK Gupta. A cross section of the people & a no. Of school children of various schools of Jammu were present on the occasion. The hallmark of function was a no. Of rallies taken out on the occasion, which culminated at the venue. Students carrying Placards/Slogans on oil conservation marched from Dusshera Ground, Gandhinagar till HPCL premises. In another rally, students from Presentation on vent took out a Rally from their school till HPCL premises, the venue of valedictory function.
In his opening address R.K. Gupta, State Level Co-ordinator cum Divisional Manager, Indian Oil welcomed all the invitees on behalf of the Oil Industry and stressed on the need to continue working towards Spreading the massage for oil & gas conservation. The gathering was apprised on the various activities carried out during the fortnight by all the oil companies.
I.D.Soni, State commissioner (Scouts), The J&K Bharat Scouts & Guides urged the oil companies to propagate the message of oil conservation on continuous basis & complimented them for involving school children on such a large scale.
