| GRDS celebrates birth anniversary of Babu Milkhi Ram | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 24: All J&K Guru Ravi Dass Sabha (GRDS) Jammu today celebrated the birth anniversary of Late Babu Milkhi Ram with great fanfare at gurudwara Shri Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj Krishna Nagar Jammu. While addressing the gathering president GRDS Vijay Lochan said that Babu ji was the founder of harijan mandal and made struggles and hunger strikes throughout his life for the betterment and upliftment of down troddens and against the discriminations with schedule casts. Also speaking on the occasion general secretary GRDS Sham Lal Basson said that the reservation in Jammu and Kashmir state is the outcome of struggles launched by Babu Ji and his associates and applauded their teachings. On the occasion Vijay Lochan and Sham Lal Basson honoured the family members of the Babu Ji followed by routine satsang and reception to Gurdeep Gir Ji Maharaj by the biradri members and GRD satsang society who blessed the both elected members and hoped that the both of them will leave no stone unturned for the betterment of the biradri. Prominent who were present on the occasion included Kuldeep Sangral, Kesar Singh, CL Banal, Sham Sunder Basson, Ashok Thappa.
