| Govt ignoring youth of Ramban : PDP | | | Early Times Report
RAMBAN, June 24: District President Youth Wing PDP, Shamoon Mir said has alleged that the youth of Ramban district are being ignored by the state government. Addressing a press conference here today, Mir said that the there are several problems being faced by the residents of Ramban, Batote and adjoining areas. He said State Govt is ignoring the youth of Ramban as it failed to persuade a multinational construction company Lighton to offer employment to local youth, however, the unemployed youths' hopes dashed as it recruited very few aspirants. He said that the youth of Ramban have technical degrees but the company preferred the youth from outside the state. Mir took a strong exception of the CAPD Department and its Minister for their failure to provide ration to the people of Batote. He said that the majority of people of Ramban Distt are poor but during this time of price hike they do not get the ration which shows the total failure of the state Government led by Omar Abdullah . |
