The death anniversary of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi was observed yesterday. A function was organized to pay floral tributes to Mahatma Ji.
Zaffar Ulla, Advocate Chairman Gandhi Seva Sadan Poonch, President district congress committee Poonch, Senior leader of the congress Yash Pall Sharma, organized the function. Gen Secretary PCC, S. Gurdev Singh sectary PCC, Mohd Zaman Adv., S. Rajinder Singh Kaka President MC Poonch, Ashwani Ghai, besides others attended the function. Paying tributes of Mahatma Gandhi, Zaffar Ulla said that need of the hour was to spread Gandhi, Philosophy of non-violence and tolerance in the Jammu and Kashmir.
