| Gold club wins friendly football match | | | early times report
doda, June 25: Host Gold Football Club Doda won the friendship football cup beating Furqaan Football Club by six goals to four at Sports Stadium, here today. Led by skipper, Ikhlaq Zargar Gold Football Club dominated the game throughout. Umar A Rishu and Rohit Kumar scored two goals each while Imad Sheikh and Saqlain Javed Sheikh netted one each. Both the teams were presented trophies and other individual prizes by the orga-niers. Speaking to the gathering, president of the hold Gold Football Club, Ikhlaq Ahmed Zargar complim-ented the players, who part of the two teams, for their skills. He disclosed that the Club shall be holding a football championship at Doda by inviting teams from entire Chenab region. |
