| BJP expresses shock over fire at Dastgir Sahib | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 25: BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas has expressed grief and shock over the unfortunate incident of fire at the holy shrine in Khanyar Srinagar and demanded an impartial inquiry into the incident.He said that at a time when normalcy is gradually returning to Kashmir valley, such incident should not be allowed to happen and strict action should be taken against culprits who instigate such incidents. He called upon the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to personally intervene in the matter and place the facts before the people of the state. Manhas appealed to all sections of society to maintain peace and not get unnecessarily provoked by mischievous elements who are always trying to disturb peace and cause suffering to the common man.
He also appealed for maintaining the tradition of communal harmony for which the state of Jammu and Kashmir is known. |
