| Gupta inspects community hall site | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, June 25 : Member Legislative Council (MLC) Subash Gupta today inspected the proposed site for construction of Multipurpose Community Hall in Hiranagar town.
He asked the Block development officer, Hiranagar to prepare estimates and submit the same for funding, so that the construction work of the project can be started.
Gupta was informed that the upcoming complex will have 5 rooms and halls with capacity to accommodate about 2000 persons at a time, apart from having parking facilities for vehicles. He said on the completion of community hall, the people particularly poor lot of Hiranagar town and adjoining villages would be able to arrange religious as well as social functions on nominal fee.Speaking on the occasion, he said that the government has launched a number of welfare schemes to improve the socio-economic condition of the weaker sections of the society. BDO, N. D. Sharma, JE, Surinder Kumar, Subash Chander, Dr. Nand Lal Sharma and other senior officers accompanied the MLC. |
