| Samba police nabs two burglars, recovers stolen property | | | Early Times Report
Samba, June 26: Samba police succeeded in working out theft case and arresting the accused involved in the theft reported in Purmandal, police said further adding that police handed over 11.200 tolas of gold ornaments & cash Rs. 29000/- to resident whose house was burgled in Purmandal on the other day.
According to reports Additional SP Samba, Dr Koushal Kumar Sharma today handed over the 11.200 tolas of gold ornaments & cash Rs. 29000/- to one Haji Mohd Isac S/O Ghulab Din R/O Mandal Katwalta, Purmandal.
Report said that on 03.05.2012, Haji Mohd Isac of Mandal Katwalta, Purmandal lodged an FIR in Police Station Purmandal that some miscreants had decamped with 10/12 tolas of Gold and cash from his house. Accordingly, case FIR No. 09/2012 U/S 454/380/411 RPC has been registered with Police Station Purmandal and investigation was taken up by Inspector Chaman Gorkha, SHO P/S Purmandal under the supervision of Dr Koushal Kumar Sharma, Addl SP Samba and S M Jangral, Dy SP SDPO Bari-Brahmna who remained successful in apprehending the accused person namely Pervez Ahmed S/O Abdul Rashid R/O Malipat Kishtwar from Bari-Brahmna and on his disclosure,
Police has also arrested one Shah Mohd S/O Mohd Sultan R/O Budli, Doda and recovered 11.200 tolas of Gold ornaments which they had sold to the Goldsmith at Lakhdata Bazar, Jammu M/S Isher Dass Mohan Lal Jewellers and Rs. 29000/- cash. However, one of the accused namely Javed Ahmed is still at large and Police is on hot pursuit to nab him. "Police has also seized one Motor Cycle No JK02A-9243 which was used in the commission of offence, police reports added. |
