| Prof Chaman expresses shock over fire at Dastgir Sahib | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 26: Expressing deep sense of shock and sorrow over the tragic fire incident of revered shrine of Peer Dastagir Sahib, MLA Jammu West Prof Chaman Lal Gupta said that the Dastgir Sahib Shrine was the symbol of sufi culture inherited in Kashmir.
He further said that Dastgir Sahib Shrine always gave the message of secularism and peace which people of Kashmir will maintain at this hour of trial.Prof Gupta said that Govt must come out with real cause of devastating fire to stop the different rumours in the city. He hoped that Govt will immediately reconstruct the shrine to assuage the feelings of the public.
He appealed to the public to maintain peace at the time of yatra in the Valley. |
