| Drug awareness programme organized | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, June 26: On the occasion of International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, Department of Drug and Food Control Organisation Kishtwar organized awareness programme at Government Degree College Kishtwar. The awareness programme was organized in collaboration with District Administration and Higher Education Department. Tariq Ahmed Sheikh, Drug Inspector Kishtwar delivered a lecture regarding hazards and ill effects of Drug Abuse and Addiction prevailing with in the society particularly among the youths.
A detailed account was given about the categories of Drugs and other substances leading addiction. Being one of the most important components of the society, cooperation was sought from the students by the Department for eradicating this deeply rooted menace from the society. |
