| PDP to protest on July 4 against "corrupt" state administration | | | earlytimes report
JAMMU, June 28: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) is all set to hold peaceful demonstrations in every tehsil of the state on July 4 next against the alleged corruption in the state administration.
An appeal in this regard has also been made by PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed to his party cadres in every tehsil of J&K.
The PDP actvists were asked to gather at tehsil headquarters on July 4 and hold strong demonstrations against the alleged corruption in the state administration.
The Mufti addressed a workers' conference here two days back in which he said the motive of protests was to send a message for a change in the "corrupt" administration.
He said due to corruption, "The files do not move from one table to the other".
PDP was committed to fight against corruption and provide a clean administration to the people, he added.
