| Sainik Colony Welfare Asso elects its executive body | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jun 29: The Welfare Association of Sainik Colony Jammu elected its new executive body for the next office term.
According to a press statement in a general body meeting held under the convener ship of S Jagdish Singh (Retd) Head Master and elected members for the executive body. During the meeting members unanimously elected S Harkirat Singh Sasan as president of the welfare association.
Among others elected included S Bakshish Singh elected as General Secretary, Rakesh Sharma as Secretary and S Ajit Singh Advocate as adviser to the association.
During the meeting members expressed grave concern over the frequent power cuts and water crises in the Colony and urged the authorities to take immediate steps in restoring water and power supply in the Sainik Colony. The association criticized the functioning of the PDD and PHE departments that had put the residents of colony to face problems.
