| Fifty pints of excise liquor seized | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 29: Jammu Police in its drive against the drinking in public places has nabbed one person and booked him under Excise Act. During intensified patrolling in Gorkha nagar area of Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station on 29-06-2012, Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station beat patrolling party headed by beat incharge under the immediate supervision of SHO Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and SDPO East Jammu apprehended one person namely Rattan Bahadur and recovered fifty (50) pouches of excise liquor from a bag in his possession which he was carrying for sale among the drunkards of the Gprkha Nagar area. A case FIR no. 41/2012 u/s 48 Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and further investigation is going on.
