| NSF expresses criticizes Controller Examination | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 1: Agitated over the lack of response from the Controller of Examination over the issue of non-declaration of results of the different Department of Jammu University, National Secular Forum (NSF) member today criticized the JU for delay in re-evaluation results of Sociology, Math, English, Political Science, Education, Economic and other subjects.
Addressing the media person NSF Secretary Balveer Kumar condemned the Controller of Examination, for non-functioning of examination Wing as it has not come up with the result of exams which were held 6 months back. Kumar said that exams of MA, Economic 1 & 3rd semester, Hindi 1st & 3rd sem, MCA 1st and 3rd sem, Sociology 1st & 3rd sem, Commerce 1st & 3rd sem, English 1st & 3rd sem, and more than 10 subjects were held in the month of November-December but so far the examination Wing has failed in coming up with the result.
He also said that university is implementing the academic calendar but has failed in declaring the result as per the calendar. He further said that Controller Examination wing has also not taken any step in coming up with this problem. He added that 2nd and 4th semester examination is completed but Re-evaluation result of some semester is awaiting this are inequitable with the expectations of these students and administration must take care of this.
He said this will not be tolerated and NSF is going to start agitation in this regard. Among those who were present in the Protest included, Sunil Kumar, Amit Sharma, Jagmohan Singh, Chaman Singh, and Sanjeev Kumar. |
