| Rumours about HM commander surrender ripe in Kishtwar | | | Asif Iqbal Naik
Kishtwar, July 1: Following a series of news reports about Hizbul Mujahideen commander Sajjad Ahmed Mir alias Rizwan's plans to surrender last month, rumours about the surrender of the said commander are ripe in Kishtwar.
Rumours suggest that Rizwan surrendered before joint team of police and 17 RR . However, the concerned SSP Bhim Sen Tutti has no information about the surrender.
He said that the media shall be briefed accordingly if the reports are found true. Rizwan is a close associate of 3 HM militants wanted in Delhi High Court blast and was active since 2005. In case the reports pertaining to surrender of Rizwan found to be true, this will be a major success for security forces operating in Kishtwar district. Rizwan was wanted by Kishtwar police in many cases including FIR No. 248/2010 U/S 302/109 RPC 7/27 A Act, 03/2009 U/S 307 RPC 7/27 I A Act, 05/2009 U/S 302/34 RPC 7/27 IA Act, 10/2010 U/S 307, 323 RPC, 7/27 I A Act, 12/2010 U/S 302/34 RPC 7/27 IA Act, 13/2010 U/S 364/302/34 RPC 3/25 I A Act, 17/2010 U/S 302/34 RPC 7/27 I A Act, 22/2010 U/S 364, 323, 34 RPC 7/25 I A Act and 23/2010 U/S 314, 302, 34 RPC 3/25 A A Act.
