| JMC enforcement wing demolishes structures | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , July 3: Under instructions from K.L. Khajuria Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jammu, the Enforcement Staff led by Chief Enforcement Officer demolished the structure which was being raised by encroaching upon State Land Opp BSF Camp Plaoura, Jammu. The shopkeepers/ residents of the locality who had earlier lodged a complaint against the encroachment appreciated the timely and swift action taken by the Jammu Municipal Corporation. Besides this, the while further continuing and intensifying the Anti Encroachment drive to clear the footpaths / pavements, parts of road sides the Enforcement staff also conducted drive in the areas of Shalamar Road, City Chowk, Kanak Mandi, Rajinder Bazar, Shahidi Chowk, and Residency Road. During the drive the team seized materials / goods/ articles which were kept by the shopkeepers by encroaching upon footpaths / pavements in these areas causing inconvenience to the pedestrians and also creating obstruction in the free movements of vehicular traffic.
