| Rawalpora girl tops CET list | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 3 : Hard work and focused attention on cracking the Common Entrance Test (CET) catapulted this uptown teen to hold the place of pride this year. Beenish Shafi, a student of Presentation Convent School secured 207 points to top the MBBS merit list among girls. In the overall ranking, she finished as second topper in the list. "I was sure of making it to the top. I rigorously prepared from the very beginning and my teachers and parents were there to help me", Beenish said. Beenish, daughter of engineer and doctor parents from Rawalpora in uptiwn Srinagar gives credit to Resonance School of Chemistry coach Javed Reshi who encouraged her to dream big. "There are other teachers who helped me but the paramount help and encouragement came from my parents who asked to me stay positive and focused", she said. Beenish said the hard work and proper guidance of teachers is the main key for clearing competitive examinations. Encouraged by her brilliant success Beenish is now contemplating to prepare for civil service examinations after completing the medical course. |
