| Center Supdt remanded to 7-days police custody | | Mass Copying Case | | Jammu, July 4 (JNF) : In a much publicized mass copying case in a school of Tehsil RS Pura, Crime Branch today produced Centre Superintendent Shamsher Singh, Master Govt. Boys High School, Rangpur Moulana in the Court of Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu seeking police remand.Special Judge Anticorruption Jammu Kartar Singh after perusal of CD file observed that the accused appear to be involved in a case FIR NO 14/2012 P/S Crime Branch U/Ss 419, 420,120-B/RPC Sec 5 of P.U.E Act 1987 and section 5(2) P.C Act Svt. 2006 and has been arrested today. Perusal of case dairies further reveals that accusation attributed to the accused is of the serious nature and investigation is in progress and granted remand to the police custody till July 10, 2012 with the direction that he be produced on the due date before Court. Court further said that medical certificate of the accused is placed on record.
According to the Crime Branch Case that An information from a reliable source was received today at Police Station Crime Branch, Jammu to the effect that one person namely Prabjot Singh S/O Gurdeep Singh R/O Kotli Shahdowla, R.S.Pura is impersonating himself as Parvinder Singh and sitting in the examination hall besides some other students who are indulging in mass copying in connivance with the Centre Superintendent and other staff members deputed by the State Board, for the conduct of examination at centre No 245 New Model Institute of Education, Khir Pind, R.S.Pura, where examination of Mathematics subject of Class 10th (Jammu Annual Private-2012, Summer Zone) is going. After lodging FIR NO 14/2012 u/s/s 419, 420,120-B/RPC Sec 5 of P.U.E Act 1987 and section 5(2) P.C Act Svt. 2006. |
