| Devolution of powers to PRIs reviewed at Reasi | | | Early Times Report
REASI, July 4 :In order to implement the decision taken by the State Government regarding the devolution of powers and functions of Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) pertaining to 14 identified departments, a meeting of concerned officers was convened under the Chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner, Reasi, N.I Parae here today.
Parae reviewed department wise progress made in devolution of powers to the PRIs. He asked the officers to make the Panchayati Raj Institutions more vibrant by fully involving them in planning, decision making and supervision of government schemes for fulfilling the government's resolve.Among others, District Panchayat Officer, R.K Badyal, Project Officer Self Employment DRDA, Executive Engineers, PWD & REW, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Agriculture Officer, BDOs and other officers were present in the meeting. |
