By organizing separatists -Pak FS meet, GOI has legitimized Jehadi movement: VHP, BD | | | early times report JAMMU, July 4: Hindu organizations have taken serious exception to the meeting of Hurriyat leaders with Pak Foreign Secretary in New Delhi yesterday and asked the Government to make public why it allowed the separatists from Valley to meet the Pak representative. The VHP which had already warned and opposed such meeting between Hurriyat and Pak Foreign Secretary saying that Government of India this way was legitimatizing the separatist and Jehadi movement in Valley. VHP state president Dr Ramakant Dubey while questioning these talks said on what ground the separatists were allowed to visit New Delhi and meet Pak Foreign Secretary as this will be tantamount to national interests. VHP and Bajrang Dal will not allow this to happen and the leaders of the two organizations are closely monitoring the situation, he said, adding what guarantee is there that they would have not again conspire against the nation. Dr Dubey said that already seven lakh Hindus and other minorities have been thrown out of Valley by the separatists and the Government has not mustered any courage to resettle them back in Valley with honour and dignity. Instead of showing guts to resettle the minority Hindus in Valley the Government has unnecessarily given importance to separatist leadership in Kashmir with the result they have again warned against the return of Pandits to Valley. It is not known what policy the Government of India is adopting to solve the present crisis in Kashmir and instead of taking a tough stance against the separatists and Pak it is adopting appeasement policy towards both, said Khem Raj a national leader of VHP. On the one hand the militants and separatists have increased their activities in Valley by restarting the killing of policemen and innocent people, he said. The killing of two cops a tanker driver and a youth from Budgam district are an eye-opener for Government which is claiming that situation has turned normal in Kashmir, he added. Khem Chand said the VHP and Bajrang Dal have always opposed any leniency to separatists and anti social elements. ``We have warned the Government that its soft policies towards militancy and revocation of AFSPA will prove counter productive and the same is going to happen'' he added. He said the militants have started re-grouping and attacking soft targets. The situation is returning to 1989-90 days and the Government is under false impression that situation has changed for better in Valley. The Bajrang Dal is also closely watching the situation and in view of the anti India stance of Pakistan which was involved in Mumbai, Parliament , Akshardam and several other terrorist attacks in India, the organization will launch a nationwide campaign against the wrong and pro-separatist policies of Union Government, said Nand Kishore a senior BD leader. He said that Pakistan has always back stabbed India and not only terrorist camps are active on its soil but it is pushing the militants inside Indian territory still to wage war against the nation and Union Government is looking a mute spectator. Instead of taking a stern action against Pak and attacking the terrorist camps on its soil the Central Government is extending hand of friendship with the neighbour which will prove suicidal, he added.
