Various Sikh organizations condemn killing of Sikh youth by ultras | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 5: S Sudershan Singh Wazir , President J&K Sikh United Front & Former president J&K Sikh Gurudwara Parbandak Board today condemned the brutal killing of a traffic constable namely S Dalbir of Kashmir by a group of militants while the deceased constable was performing his duties. Wazir, while addressing a meeting of the various Sikh Organizations condemned in the strongest words this act of the militants and conveyed his full sympathy with the family of constable S Dalbir Singh S/o S. Sachender singh R/o Bramulla Kashmir. Wazir further said that this incident has sent a clear message to the public that minorities are not safe in Kashmir Valley Despite of the claims of the government. He further appealed to the state government to take all the necessary steps to protect and safe guard the minorities in Kashmir Valley. He further appealed to the people of valley in general and Sikhs in particular to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood amongst themselves at all costs. Singh appealed to the government that Sikh employees be posted in their native places and appealed to the state government to sanction an ex-gratia relief of Rs. 10 Lakh in Favour of the family member of the deceased and also take all the necessary steps to safe guard the Future of the kids including their studies. Among others present in the meeting were S Narbir Singh, President Youth Akali Dal, S Mohinder Singh, Chief Organisor Bhai Kanhiya Nishkam Sewa Soiety, S Avtar Singh Khalsa, President United secular Forum, S.Paramjit Singh, President AIISF, S.Kulwant Singh, Chief Advisor Sikh Naujwan Sabha , S.Gajan Singh, General Secretary Sikh Welfare Society, S.Ramnik Singh Bijral,S.Manmohan Singh,Chairman Gole Gujral and S.Kultar Singh,Nank Nagar Jammu. |
