Lakhvi's, ors planning attacks in JK from Pak jail

Kishtwar July 5: Arrest of seven Sopore youth has brought to fore 26/11 mastermind, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi's plans of terror attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.
The arrested youth identified as Umar Rashid Shala of Sidiq colony Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Shosha alias Waseem, Farooq Ahmad Sheikh alias Sajad resident of Bona Lalad, Mudasir Majeed Dar alias Ammar of Bona Lalad, Amir Bashir War alias Mahi resident of Umarabad Warpora, Sopore, Reyaz Ahmad Dhobi of Model Town Sopore; and Maroof Ahmad Lone of Hadipora Sopore told police that lakhvi along with six arrested associates was planning terror attacks from Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Police claimed recovery of a Pika gun with ammunition, two Chinese-made pistols with magazines, detonators, rocket launchers and hand grenades from their possession. According to the police, the youth have been indoctrinated and lured to gun culture by one Fahdullah, a Pakistani Lashkar commander operating in Sopore-Bandipore belt.


Sources said that these masterminds of deadly attack of 26/11 Mumbai attack are running communication centre in Adiala Jail to stay in touch with their Lashker commander in North and South Kashmir.

Investigations revealed that Fahdullah was receiving instructions from one Hanzullah, a Lashkar commander presently lodged in Pakistani jail. "Hanzullah had given him (Fahdullah) a task to revive terror groups in Jammu and Kashmir", police sources said.

The sources said that as per the plan hatched in Pakistan jail, the newly recruited youngsters were assigned the task of executing various terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of India.

The sources said that they were also provided with communication gadgets and weaponry. "They were asked to identify targets like security installations for carrying out terror attacks--- three of these recruits in coming days were to be sent to Pakistan on fake documents for advance terror training", sources said.
It is worth mentioning here that presently Lakhvi and his five associates including Hanzullah are being tried inside the Adiala Jail for their alleged involvement in 26/11 attack in Mumbai. However, this revelation exposes Pakistani government's seriousness in bringing them to justice. There are inputs that besides running communication network from within Pakistani jail, they are enjoying luxurious life inside the jail.
