Political, social organisations resent shifting of bus stand

BHADERWAH, July 6 : Shri Samatan Dhram Sabha ,Janta Dal Secular and BJP today organised a strong protest and demonstration here today at Ganpat Bazaar and criticized administration of Bhaderwah for not allowing the passenger buses to enter in the old Bus stand Pasri and Sari Bazaar Bhaderwah and shifting the bus stand to Kotli village without ensuring that the new bus stand was equipped with all amenities. All organisations said bus operators and common passenger were facing timing, bathroom ,toilet , electricity and waiting room problems following the shifting of the bus stand.Not only this poor people are also facing lot of hardship as buses with the pressure of the administration are not dropping the passengers in old bus stand or Sari Bazaar , auto drivers are charging 30 to 40 rupees as distance is less than half Km ,said Masth Nath Yogi state President JDS while addressing the gathering of people .
He further expressed his resentment over the shifting of the bus stand in a haste merely on the grounds that the old bus stand in the heart of the town was chaotic. The entire bus stand area is also dusty, he further complained. Prof Kamshwar convener Shri Samatan Dhram Sabha lashed out at administration and added that after not allowing the passengers buses in town by the administration the prices of the commodities has increased and there is also fear of unemployment .Koshal Dogra BJP spokesman demanded that buses and matadors should be permitted to enter the Sari Bazaar and Pasri bus stand only to drop the passengers so that poor people may not suffer . He has expressed its strong resentment to the shifting of the bus stand in haste to Kioli village without ensuring any basic amenity and without even passing a unanimous resolution with public .He informed that last week administration called a meeting of citizens and trade organisations where every one demanded from administration to withdraw its decision but now administration hasmadeit a prestigious issue to not allow the passenger buses to drop the passengers in Sari Bazaar and old bus stand which will not betolerated and give time three days to administration to withdraw its order .In the protest people shouted anti administration slogans .Meanwhile President Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah Kharat Frash while addressing Friday prayerin Jamia Masjid also criticizedadministration and demanded from them to allow the buses to drop the passengers in Old bus stand and Sari Bazaar , if not then face consequences.
