| DIET Jammu organize District Level Science Exhibition | | | early tmes report
jammu, July 6 : A two day 2nd District Level Science Exhibition 2012 under INSPIRE Award Scheme of Govt. of India, Ministry of Science and Technology in collaboration with District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) was organized today at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, Jammu. Spokesperson said as many as 60 Science models were displayed at the Science Exhibition Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) which is a flagship programme of Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Joint Director (Trgs.) / Principal SIE Jammu, A C Aima inaugurated the Science Exhibition. In his inaugural address he appreciated the scientific approach and skill portrayed in the exhibition. Speaking on the occasion, he impressed upon the students to develop scientific temper for progress and prosperity of the country in the present era of Science and Technology. He also interacted with the students and teachers.
Among others, Darshan Lal(FA), Om Parkash(FA), P.D. Sharma, Principal Govt. Boys Higher secondary School Gandhi Nagar, P.K. Durani, Principal DIET Jammu and the staff of DIET were also present on the occasion.
