Early Times Report

Jammu, July 6: Reacting sharply to the recent provocative statement by Geelani, President of All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS), Pt Moti Kaul today stated that the Geelani's recent uttering should not be seen in isolation.
"It needs to be read in totality with respect to the continued sequence of events. Under a larger game plan, a well orchestrated conspiracy by separatists and major political player is being pursued to thwart any move of return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley, Pt Moti lal Koul stated in his statement issued in a media conference.
He said, "On one side, Geelani says that KPs are the part and Parcel of Kashmir and in the same breath threatens for mass agitation against any structured rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits. Geelani is nobody to give us directions about our return. Kashmir is not the personal property of anyone."
He categorically reiterated that nobody can dictate us how and when to return to the valley and raising a finger of suspicion over Geelani's remarks said, "On June 17, Geelani gave a statement that their youth are mulling with other options and will revive the armed struggle.
Is it a coincidence that on July 3, militants kill two police constables including Dalbir Singh?" The recent sequence of events makes it amply clear that there is a deep rooted conspiracy to create hurdles in our return to the valley.
The first pointer in this direction came from the recent report release by interlocutors wherein the victim hood of Kashmiri Pandits has been totally ignored.
Another glaring act of the callousness and indifference towards the KP community was recently exposed when we were mourning on the sad demise of Community leader, Pt Amar Nath Vaishnavi except for BJP, no political party shared the community's grief. He also lambasting on the state government's raw deal and neglect towards the KP exiles. Kaul reaffirmed that our resolve to return to the valley shall be pursued with all its might based on the resolution adopted during Global Meet of KPs on 4th March 2012 at Jammu.Ashok Braroo, senior Vice President Kashmiri Pandit Sabha, Amphalla, Jammu and A K Raina, Vice President All India Kashmiri Samaj also were present in the media interaction.
