| MLAs should come clean on Panchayati Raj: National Party | | | Early Times Report
Jammu , July 7 : National Party (NP) has called upon Jammu based MLAs to clear their stand on empowerment of Panchayati Raj System in J&K. In a meeting, President of National Party (NP) Dr.Randeep Singh Parihar said that these MLAs are making don't want to see empowered Panchayati Raj .
Dr. Parihar asked all Jammu based parties for not confusing the general public. "Let public be clear Party 's stand on empowerment of Panch yaty Raj System" he said demanding that if MLAs are serious ,then they should call meetings of all Panchayat Halqas of their constituency and take better suggestions from panches and sarpanches for smooth village development
Dr. Randeep Singh Parihar ,demanded for immediate establishing of three-tier Panchayati Raj in the state, Conduct elections of Zila, Block Parishads, Adaliti Committees, Implementation of the 73rd amendment in the State constitution, salaries and others facilities to Panches & Sarpanches like MLAs and MLCs.
If MLAs either from Ruling parties or others make silence on these issue, then it will be assumed that these representatives don't want to give powers in the hands of Panches and Sarpanches . |
