Kishtwar police cracks Laila Murder mystery
Tak, friend killed Patel family Court hands over Tak to Mumbai police

kishtwar, July 7: The Kishtwar police today claimed a major breakthrough in Laila Khan murder case as a local court handed over the main accused to Mumbai police on four day transit remand.
According to Dy. SP Headquarters Kishtwar Abrar Ahmed Chowdhary, Parvaiz Iqbal Tak and his friend Shakir Hussain both resident of Nali Bhunzwah in Kishtwar District killed all the six family members just few days before Laila Khan decided to shift to Dubai along with her family to solemnized her marriage with Sonu @ Wufi Khan son of Dawood aide Kamal Yadwani.
Chowdhary said that before Liala Khan and her family decided to shift Dubia, her mother decided to make her 2nd husband Asif Sheikh as attorney holder of her disputed property in Mumbai. Chowdhary said that the matter somehow came to the notice of Liala's 2nd step father Parvaiz Iqbal Tak as a result of which the accused exchanged heated arguments Saleena Patel which ultimately led to the killing of Laila her 5 others family members.
Chowdhary refused to divulge more details. He said police investigated the whole case and Maharashtra counterpart has only left with one job which is to recover the dead bodies from the spot disclosed by accuse Tak during questioning.
He said police has already mobilized the men and machinery to arrest Shakir Hussain who went underground soon after Kishtwar police released him from detention. He said he was hopeful that Shakir will be soon behind the bars.
He thanked his senior officers for their all possible help in tracking main accuse Parvaiz Iqbal Tak. However sources said that during quarrel between Tak and Laila's mother; accused Tak pushed Saleena Patel as a result of which she received fatal injury on her head.
The sources said the other family members comes out of their room and saw Saleena Patel laying in a pool of blood. They said after seeing her mother lying in a pool of blood, all the family members started crying. Sources said that all the family members started beating Tak inside the Igatpuri farmhouse which is situated at an isolated place. Sources said Parvaiz Tak neighbor and friend Shakir Hussain who is working as watchman at Igatpuri farmhouse of the actress came inside and after seeing his friend fighting with the family members, joined Tak and beat all the family members to death with sticks and rods.
Sources said that after killing all the family members both Parvaiz Iqbal Tak and his friend Shakir Hussain shifted the dead bodies in vehicles and buried them somewhere around Igatpuri farmhouse in forest area. The sources said that all the family members were buried along with their jewelry inside one grave dug by Tak and his friend Shakir during night hours.
The sources said that after killing all the six family members in a cold blood, Tak along with his friend conducted the recee in nearby forest area and dug the grave and later shifted them in the forest where he along with his buried them one by one.
The sources said the accused then drove the vehicle to Jammu and left one of the two vehicles abandoned near Nehru Market Jammu while another one was hid by Tak inside a rented shop at Om Mehta road Kishtwar.
The sources said that Tak came into contact with Saleena Patel during a function at Mumbai organized by some local NGO. The sources added that after meeting Saleena Patel, Tak exchange mobile numbers with her thus the relationship between the two started developing. In the meantime accused Parvaiz Iqbal Tak managed to gain the sympathy of the deceased Saleena Patel. The sources said Saleena Patel invited Tak to Mumbai and he responded positively.
The sources said that after receiving Tak at railway station, Saleena Patel took him to her residence and after staying with her for few months, Saleena Patel offered a marriage proposal which Tak accepted.
The sources said that after marrying Saleena Patel, accuse Tak use to look after all aspects of his family which later in the ended on a sad note. The sources said that once Shakir will be arrested, he will be handed over to Mumbia Crime Branch. The sources said that as per the investigation conducted by Kishtwar, Asif Sheikh and Afgan Khan has played no role in killing actress and her family and said that all the prior claims made by the Tak were false before he (Tak) finally broke 3 days ago and confessed the crime.
Meanwhile Munsif Judge Kishtwar Vinod Kumar handed over the custody of Parvaiz Iqbal Tak to Mumbai Crime branch after no objection was filed by Kishtwar police through Chief Prosecuting Officer Kishtwar Subash Sharma.
Sharma in his remarks before the court submitted that Kishtwar police required no further custody of Parvaiz Iqbal Tak in cheating and forgery case registered with police station Kishtwar. He further stated that in case the court allows the transit remand of Tak in favour of Mumbai Crime Branch , police had no objection.
Tak was required by Mumbai Crime branch in connection with the case of kidnapping registered by Nadir Shah Patel, father of deceased actress Laila Khan. Taking statement of CPO Kishtwar and warrant produce by Mumbai Crime Branch, Munsif Judge gave four days transit of Tak in favour of Mumbai Crime Branch. Earlier accuse Parvaiz Iqbal Tak was produced before the Munsif Judge Kishtwar with face covered with black cloth. Tak was escorted with strong police contingent to Court. Mumbai Crime branch team which arrived in Kishtwar two days ago will finally shift accuse Parvaiz Iqbal Tak to Mumbai any time tomorrow. People of Kishtwar appreciated the role of Kishtwar police and greeted them for their success in cracking the one of the India's most high profile murder mystery.
