Allegation of fraud against CEO, Warden Pahari hostel Rajouri | Locals demand inquiry, threaten stir | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 8: Organisation for social justice, a local NGO has demanded an inquiry into the financial transactions of the office of Chief Education Officer Rajouri and warden of the Pahari hostel Rajouri, alleging large scale embezzlement. Chairman and Gen.sec. of the organisation, ,S K.Mughal and RS Mehta have demanded seizing of relevant financial record of govt. Pahari hostel Rajouri/and CEO,/office Rajouri and physical verification of cash books /stock register of RMSA, SSA, rent-grant, medical reimbursement, -mid-day meal and-scholarship. They have appealed to the chief minister to appoint independent enquiry against warden Pahari hostel and CEO Rajouri and other officials of Chief Education Officer Rajouri who are involved in multi crore scandals while operating funds violating codal formalities. Organisation for social justice appealed chief minister to personally look-into-matter as some politicians are trying to defend these officials due to their ulterior motives. The organization leaders also appealed to Chief information commissioner to take legal action against CEO Rajouri & Warden Pahari Hostel Rajouri for openly violating R.T.I. Act by not providing information for last two years. They alleged that one applicant Shah Nawaz approached DDC Rajouri issued notice through his office letter number RTI 54-55 dt 16/04/2012 and another applicant Javed also filed appeal before DDC Rajouri who is first appellant authority DDC Rajouri but even then C.EO Rajouri did not respond to queries. Different social Organizations have now decided to go on protest Dharna if government failed to take cognizance of repeated complaints and take action against corrupt officers.
