| Madan Lal chairs district Rajouri V&MC meeting | | Reviews implementation of centrally sponsored schemes | | Early Times Report
RAJOURI, July 9: The Vigilance & Monitoring Committee(V&MC) Rajouri district today reviewed the implementation of various centrally sponsored schemes for the 1st quarter of financial year 2012-13 at a meeting held here under the chairmanship of Member Parliament, Jammu-Poonch Constituency, Madan Lal Sharma, who is also chairman of the Committee.
Minister of State for Power, Forest, Transport and CAPD, Shabir Ahmed Khan, members of Vigilance & Monitoring Committee, besides district officers who are implementing the centrally sponsored schemes also attended the meeting.
Shabir gave a detailed account of problems being faced in the district, while the concerned officers provided the details about the physical and financial achievements registered under various schemes. Reviewing the status of various schemes, Sharma directed the district officers to implement the centrally sponsored schemes in letter and spirit and take corrective measures to remove the discrepancies pointed out by the members of Vigilance & Monitoring Committee of the district.
The chair hailed the district administration for healthy and fruitful approach towards implementation of programme, particularly the centrally sponsored schemes. |
