Surrendered Ultra on padyatra against corruption- HR violations

Jammu, July 9: Fighting against corruption and human right violations, a 'surrendered' militant from Kashmir is on an unusual mission- performing 'padyatra' from Mumbai to Kashmir.
Mohammad Altaf from Kashmir who crossed the fence for arms training in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in 1990 is now on a mission to raise awareness among people against corruption and human right violations. On reaching Jammu this afternoon, he told a news agency , "I want to make people aware about the menace of corruption, which is like a cancer and gradually gnawing at the country's vitals." His mission is to prevent others from supporting insurgency."I made a mistake in 1990 by crossing over to PoK. Youth of Kashmir should not repeat the same," he said adding, “people in the neighbouring country want to live in peace and harmony.
