| Aalam congratulates Mufti Nasir for being nominated Grand Mufti | | | early times report
srinagar, July 9: Veteran trade union leader and president Employees Joint action committee (EJAC) Muhammad Khursheed Aalam has congratulated Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam for being nominated as Grand Mufti of J&K - coveted chair in the supreme court of Islamic Shariat..
pertinently Post Graduate in Arabic with a degree in Law, Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam son of Mufti Bashir-ud-Din, has remained a legal consultant with ministry of justice, Govt of Abu Dhabi in year 2006.
He resigned from there and started his own legal consultancy. He has also specialization in spoken Arabic and deep knowledge of Islamic jurisprudence. Prior to his professional service abroad, Mufti Nasir-ul -Islam had been working with his father at the supreme court of Islamic Shariat since 1970, where as in 2000 he was appointed as deputy Mufti Azam of Jammu and Kashmir.
"Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam is an authority in Islamic jurisprudence and there could have been no other viable choice for this coveted chair, I wish him best of luck" Khursheed Aalam said in a statement. |
