IGNOU extends date for MBA admission | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, July 10: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date for admission to the Management Programmes under ODL mode for those who have qualified OPENMAT XXX and XXXI held on 21st August 2011 and 12th February 2012 respectively. The last date has been extended from 31st May 2012 to 16th July 2012. Similarly, the last date for MBA (Banking and Finance) has also been extended upto 16th July 2012. This has been done exclusively to facilitate those prospective students of MP and MPB who fulfill the eligibility criteria and have initially submitted their filled-in applications at the respective Partner Institutions under convergence scheme, but now want to seek admission through the Regional Centres under ODL mode. No late fee would be charged. However, the eligibility criteria, as prescribed for the July 2012 session for admission to the management programmes and MBA (B&F) remain the same. Other prospective students of ODL mode who have missed the deadline of 31st May 2012 for various reasons, and are otherwise found eligible, can also avail the benefit of the extended date. All the prospective students will have to buy IGNOU's Student Handbook and Prospectus and apply through the prescribed form.
