| Puri Shankaracharaya calls on Dy CM | | | early times report
SRINAGAR, July 10: Jagat Guru of Puri Peeth Shiver, Swami Adhokshjanand Ji Maharaj called on Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand here today after having darshan of holy cave of Amarnathji. Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Government en-route to holy cave of Shri Amarnathji for the convenience of the devotees, Swami said that communal harmony and brotherhood prevailing in the State is worth to imitate and model for the people of the country for the peaceful co- existence of the mankind.
The Swami had arrived in Jammu, along with 10 other members, on July 5 from Shree Adhya Shankaracharya Dharmotthan Sansad, Dawarika New Delhi. He proceeded for Pahalgam on July 6 and had darshan of Shivlingam at holy cave on July 8. On July 9, Swamiji Maharaj reached Srinagar via Baltal. Swamiji is scheduled to visit Shiv Khori temple at Jammu tomorrow. On July 12, he is also meeting the deputations at Jammu, and is scheduled to leave for New Delhi on the same day.
