| JKWDC Organizes 20th Exhibition | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, July 10: Minister for Social Welfare (Chairperson JKWDC) Sakina Itoo inaugurated 10 days exhibition at Nunwan base camp Pehalgam, organized by J&K State Women's Development Corporation in order to provide marketing support to its loanee beneficiaries. While inaugurating the event visited the stalls and interacted with the participants who have availed loan facility under NMDFC, NBCFDC, and NHFDC & ESW Schemes of the WDC representing every part of the state. Earlier in her address Managing Director, Dr. Naheed Soz welcomed the Chief Guest, Sakina Itoo for Social Welfare (Chairperson JKWDC) and highlighted the importance of exhibitions in providing marketing support to Below Poverty Line loanee beneficiaries of the WDC and called these events as an opportunity for mutual interaction among participants/beneficiaries for greater understanding of the developmental schemes being run by the Govt. Managing Director further stated that as on date Corporation has disbursed an amount of Rs. 66.00 crores as loan amongst 14000 beneficiaries in the state especially in Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Kulgam, Anantnag and Kupwara districts. The inaugural ceremony among others was also attended by were Mr. Samyal, S.S.P (Police Yatra officer), Amit Sharma Yatra Camp Director (Additional Secretary Revenue) Mr. Nissar Ahmad, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, Atul Sharma, In charge Dy. S.P.Traffic (Yatra) and the officers/officials of the Corporation beyond beneficiaries and local people.
