| United Club, SCC enter semis of Sopore T20 | | | early times report
SRINAGAR, July 10: United Cricket Club and Syndicate Cricket Club (SCC) today moved into the next round of semifinals of the ongoing Sopore Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at Khushal Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, in the first match of the day, United Cricket Club defeated Yousuf Strikers Baba Yousuf by four wickets. Batting first, Baba Yousuf set a target of 135 runs for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, United Club accomplished the target in 17 overs for the loss of six wickets. Iqbal was declared man of the match for his match winning innings of 43 runs and one wicket.
The second match was won by Syndicate Cricket Club (SCC) outplaying Shah Rafiq Cricket Club by five wickets. Shah Rafiq Club batting first made 122 runs, which, in reply, Syndicate Club chased in 19.2 overs for the loss of five wickets.
Feroze Ahmad of the winning team was declared man of the match for his individual score of 30 runs.
