| BAJ to suspend work on July 11 & 12 | | | | Jammu, July 10 (JNF) : In an emergent meeting of the Bar Association Jammu under the Presidentship of B. S.Slathia, it has been resolved to suspend work in all Courts including High Court on 11th 12th July 2012, in support of the call given by Bar Council of India in protest against the Central Govt.'s move to pass Higher Education Research Bill-2011, The National Accreditation Regulatory Authority for Higher Educational Institutions Bill, 2010; and "The Foreign Educational Institutions (Regulation of Entry and Operations) Bill, 2010; and The National Law School Bills, 2011, as also b) the J&K State Govt.'s passing of The Jammu and Kashmir (Residential and Commercial Tenancy Act-2012). Alongside the support to the resolution of Bar Council of India, Bar Association Jammu lodged its protest against the passing of J&K (Residential and Commercial) Tenancy Act 2012 by the State Govt. The meeting was attended by Office Bearers of Bar Association Jammu Vikram Sharma (General Secy.), Parimoksh Seth (Joint Secy), Rohan Nanda (President YLA), D.K.Khajuria, and D.s.Saini (Former Presidents) of BAJ, S. Baldev Singh, B.S.Sudan, Pawan Maini, C.M.Sharma, Ravinder Sharma, J.P.Gandhi, Ajay Sharma, Monish Chopra, Surjeet Singh, Minu Koul and many others. |
