| Govt keen to meet developmental aspirations of people: Bhalla | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 10 : Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla has said that the coalition Government has formulated comprehensive plans under PHE, PDD, R&B, Education, ERA and Health sectors to meet the developmental aspirations of the people of the state. The Minister was addressing a large gathering at Gandhi Nagar, here today. Bhalla assured the people that all their genuine demands and development needs would be fulfilled in a phased manner, adding that there was no constraint of funds in providing adequate basic amenities to the people of all the three regions of the state. He urged them to extend their whole hearted cooperation to the Government to develop every nook and corner of the State on modern lines.
The Minister said the Government has taken various exemplary measures to improve the living standard of his home constituency, adding that for this purpose huge funds have been spent under various developmental sectors. He said provision for adequate drinking, water facilities, improved power, medicare facilities, quality education and accommodation to the students besides better lanes and drains are being paid focused attention. MLC Ravinder Sharma, besides party workers in large numbers were present on the occasion. |
