| PDP's roadmap has potential to address aspirations of all regions | | Party to celebrate its 'foundation day' on Aug 1 | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 10: Reiterating resolve to address aspirations of all regions and sub-regions of the State, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leaders today said that roadmap prepared by his party was the only viable and most acceptable solution of the Kashmir problem and this roadmap has potential to address external and internal dimensions of Kashmir problem. Addressing a meeting in connection with the preparations of the coming Foundation Day function of the party to held at Jammu on Aug 1, PDP leaders said that the previous PDP led regime had initiated the peace process which ultimately brought positive change in this region and it was result of the reconciliation process started by previous coalition regime that peace was restored from Kathua to Kargil and a sense of security was development among the common masses.
PDP leaders said that PDP's Self Rule document has potential to solve both external and dimensions of the problem and this document was prepared by accommodating wishes of all the stake holders.They said that solution of Kashmir problem was must for sustainable peace and economic growth of this region because resolution of this problem was key to the lasting peace and prosperity in the entire South Asia.
Calling upon the party workers to make the coming Foundation Day function as grand success, they said that PDP has emerged as a big political force in the State.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were S Rangil Singh, S Trilok Singh Bajwa, Thakur Balbir Singh, Daman Bhasin, Ved Mahajan, Fallail Singh, Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, Ashok Jogi, S Avtar Singh Khalsa, S Amrik Singh Reen, Sushila Jamwal, Jagdish Raj and others. |
