| Accession of J&K with India final, unity of J&K supreme: Working Group meeting | | | Jammu Feb 2 As was expected main opposition party National Conference on Saturday stayed away from the crucial working group meeting looking in to centre state relations with retd Justice Sageer Ahmed in chair. The meeting was attended by union Water Resources Minister Prof Saif-Ud-Din Soz, Speaker Tara Chand, PDP leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig, Panun Kashmir leader Ajay Churangoo and Ashwani Sharma of JSM. During the second round of meeting of the group , the participants discussed the agenda as to how to bridge the gap between New Delhi and state of Jammu and Kashmir. Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley aslo stayed away from the meeting and the state BJP Chief represented the party. Emerging out of the meeting, PDP Leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig said that after long discussions the group concluded three things which included that accession of Jammu and Kashmir with India was final. He informed no member present during the meeting challenged it. He said the group also concluded that issue of development at regional and sub regional level should be addressed and legitimate demands of all three regions namely Jammu, Kashmir and Ladkah should be fulfilled and under no circumstances the state should be divided to fulfill regional aspirations. Baig said unity of state of Jammu and Kashmir is supreme and in no way is affected by the discussion on slogans of self-rule and autonomy. Commenting on the issue of human rights violation, Baig said he raised the issue and highlighted the fact that in order to make more progress on the peace front the issue should be dealt with great sensitivity. The BJP, Panun Kashmir and Jammu State Morcha ourightly rejected the slogans of self rule and autonomy as plausible solution for resolving Kashmir.
