| Revenue team removes encroachments on state land | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, July 12 : A team of Revenue Department today evicted encroachment on the state land here at Shiva Nagar area.On the directions of DDCKathua a team led by Tehsildar, Kathua, Jatinder Mishra removed the illegal encroachment on the state land. SHO , Kathua , Executive Officer of Kathua Municipality , Staff of Revenue Department were also accompanied the Tehsildar during demolition.
The team identified 1 Kanal 4 Marlas state land at Gair-Mumkin- Talai in Chack Sona Nupaand Chack Gainda on which a concrete plinth and steel bars meant for concrete pillars constructed illegally by some unidentified Persons .
The entire structure was removed by JCB in the presence of locals of the area. The police party lead by SHO Kathua was also present while removing the encroachment.
The visiting team asked the local people to remain vigilant and inform the district administration in case of any further encroachment on the said land. He informed that the construction work on encroached Talai was stopped earlier by the revenue department and due time was given for the claim of the ownership but no one turned up till date resulting in demolition of illegal structure. |
