| CALLING ATTENTION NOTICE | | Yasin calls attention of Govt | | SRINAGAR, AUGUST 01 – In reply to Calling Attention Notice by Mr. Mohammad Yasin Shah regarding health sub centres at Dara and Kariwa Faqir Gugri, Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad stated in the Legislative Assembly today that “Health Sub Centre at Dara is actually housed in a private rented building and the staff posted in the centre is facing problems being created by the owner of the building for enhancement of the rent of the building and engagement of his relative as employee in the said centre. The owner of the building has off and on locked the building. This has definitely disturbed the situation in the functioning of said health centre. However, despite these difficulties, the department is running the centre in the open air and is in the process of shifting that centre to some suitable location in the area”.
He said that regarding health sub centre at Kariwa Faqir Gugri, there is no such centre sanctioned and the department however, is running the said centre by internal arrangement keeping in view huge tribal population residing in the area. |
